Note: Hidden comments <!-- TEXT HERE WILL NOT BE DISPLAYED -->

Note: Anchor Points - Section linking WITHIN pages USE Section linking or To link to a section in the same page you can use displayed text, and to link to a section in another page displayed text.

Note: Section linking with arbitrary id USE <span id="anchor_name"></span>. Be sure to use a name that is not likely to be duplicated. One way to do this is to incorporate the titles of the higher-level sections, at least in abbreviated form, e.g., Ontario-Natural_features for the "Natural features" subsection of the "Ontario" section of an article about the provinces of Canada. ADD inside Table Caption/Heaer Text

IDEAS

Note: ADD a list of ideas and how & what Templates can create a good timeline to cross reference the various topics needed.

Theaters/Fronts
Western Eastern Italian
Caucasian Middle Eastern Balkan
African Naval Air
Politics Asian and Pacific Gallipoli

This could be used to create a separate listing of the various Eras, and other such lists like Timeline of Religion.

Templates could be set up just like Timelines of world history and with various subsections: Year-based units include the Olympiad (four years), the Lustrum (five years), the Indiction (15 years), the Decade (10 years), the century(100 years), and the millennium (1,000 years).

Using a similar template (Nature timeline) but using a sideways Chart with the list of sections broken down like Timeline of the Middle Ages (410 CE – 1499 CE). Even expanding into another for Timeline of architecture as well.

2 BC 1 BC 1 2 3 4 5 ... 96 97 98 99 100 101 102 103 ... 198 199 200 ... 1901 1902 ... 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 ... 2098 2099 2100 2101 2102 2103 ... 2198 2199 2200
1st century 2nd century ... 20th century 21st century 22nd century

Another way to split tables, Lists, etc. into a good Scale of Tinmeline is to use something similar to Geologic time scale, which uses <timeline> and Extension:TemplateData that is a module that needs to installed Extension:TemplateData. This data is stored as JSON.
