Sepire was originally a legion fort built during the Corani Empire. Following the collapse of the Theocracy, it became the center of the Kingdom of Homarty. In 688, Hamlyn Terhune was one of the first petty kings to swear fealty to Andasin III following the fall of Sarkum and Hebon. He was made a vassal of the Earl of Heroth, which insulted him. Hamlyn’s son Kemas, 36, is the present baron. He regards Andasin IV as a fool and dislikes the Earl of Sarkum.

Sepire is home to hardy folk who thrive on isolation and adversity. It is the gateway to the vast Tepr Bog and the forbidding Telous Downs, both home to a variety of rare and potent herbs, mushrooms, and insects. The Guild of Arcane Lore supports a small chantry here for the purpose of exploring and studying the mysteries of the Ternu Heath, its occupants, and its fascinating weather phenomena. The chantry includes three Fyvrian and one Lyahvi Shek-Pvar, some herbalists, and some learned assistants. Ilviranism hangs on here in the remoter manors.
