IMIDEN [E7] 1 Timrola Hundred, Perishire, 415
Imiden Keep was built in 477 as a Corani legion fortress. In 624, its brigand holders surrendered to the Checkered Shield. Imiden was the main target of the attack that began Ezar’s War</span> in 682.
Imiden is the seat of the Sheriff of Peris. The current sheriff is Prince Anaflas Milaka, the younger brother of the king and a capable, energetic administrator.
Prince Anaflas is heir to his father’s title as Earl of Sarkum and also to the throne of Kanday, since Andasin IV has yet to take a wife. Several lords of the realm wish Prince Anaflas ruled in place of his elder brother, who is perceived as weak.
Imiden presents a major threat to Rethemi forces at Omnis and in Golotha beyond. The military forces are in a constant state of readiness and much of the area’s considerable natural wealth is consumed by the many knights and horses that patrol Urmore and Timrola hundreds.
Prince Anaflas and the Order of the Checkered Shield are considered by most locals as the primary defense against the horrors of the Agrikans and the Morgathians. Northern Kandians are highly intolerant of the dark churches.
