This could be used to create a separate listing of the various Eras, and other such lists like [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_religion Timeline of Religion].

Templates could be set up just like [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timelines_of_world_history Timelines of world history] and with various subsections: Year-based units include the Olympiad (four years), the Lustrum (five years), the Indiction (15 years), the Decade (10 years), the century(100 years), and the millennium (1,000 years).

Using a similar template ([http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Life_timeline Nature timeline]) but using a sideways Chart with the list of sections broken down like [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_the_Middle_Ages Timeline of the Middle Ages] (410 CE – 1499 CE). Even expanding into another for [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_architecture#1st_millennium_AD Timeline of architecture] as well.
